MXGP Argentinien: Persönliches Top Resultat für Jeremy

Das erste Rennwochenende der MXGP-Saison 2024 gehört schon wieder der Vergangenheit an. Jeremy Seewer beendet die beiden Rennen in Argentinien auf dem 7. respektive dem 5. Platz. Ein zufriedenstellendes Resultat vor dem Hintergrund, dass dies der erste MXGP in der neuen Teamstruktur war – auf einer Strecke, die Jeremy Seewer sonst nicht sehr gut liegt.

MXGP Patagonien Argentinien – ein Rennwochenende, bei dem Jeremy Seewer in den letzten Jahren oftmals seine Ziele nicht erreichen konnte oder sich sogar verletzt hat. Kein einfacher Start für eine neue Saison in neuer Teamstruktur, den der 29-Jährige gemeinsam mit dem Team sehr gut meisterte. Im ersten Rennen auf dem 7., im zweiten Lauf auf dem 5. Platz und damit auf dem kombinierten 6. Rang klassiert zieht Seewer ein positives Fazit mit Ausblick auf baldige Spitzenleistungen, wie er sie in den vergangenen Jahren regelmässig gezeigt hat:

«Rein resultatmässig war es nicht mein erfolgreichstes Rennweekend, bin aber zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis, wir haben viel gelernt. Immerhin war es das erste MXGP-Rennen mit dem neuen Team und ich bin froh, dass ich nicht wie so oft in den vergangenen Jahren mit Verletzungen aus Argentinien zurückgekommen bin. Die Strecke ist und bleibt relativ gefährlich und herausfordernd, aber wir konnten viel lernen und haben klare Pläne, in welche Richtung wir weiterarbeiten müssen. In 2-3 Rennen sollte ich wieder bereit sein, auch mit dem neuen Team vorne mitzufahren.»

The first race weekend of the 2024 MXGP season is in the books. Jeremy Seewer finished the two races in Argentina in 7th and 5th place respectively. A satisfactory result considering that this was the first MXGP in the new team structure - on a track that does not usually suit Jeremy Seewer very well. MXGP Patagonia Argentina: A race weekend where Jeremy Seewer has often been unable to achieve his goals in recent years or has even injured himself. Not an easy start for a new season in a new team structure, which the 29-year-old mastered very well together with the team. After finishing 7th in the first race and 5th in the second, and thus in a combined 6th place, Seewer draws a positive conclusion and looks forward to top performances in the near future,as he has regularly shown in recent years:

"In terms of results, it wasn't my most successful race weekend, but I'm happy with the result, we learned a lot. After all, it was the first MXGP race with the new team and I'm glad that I didn't come back from Argentina with injuries like so often in previous years. The track is and remains relatively dangerous and challenging, but we were able to learn a lot and have clear plans for the direction in which we need to continue working. In 2-3 races time, I should be ready to ride at the front again, even with the new team."

The next MXGP race weekend will take place on March 23rd and 24th in Arroyomolinos, near Madrid.
